I knew there was gonna be something I didn't see coming, and yet I was still unprepared for the reality. The worst part is it is SO EASY TO MISS, and the scenes they flash back to are NOTHING NEW.Ringwraith wrote: Also, not got time to go in-depth, but yes, all those spoiler'd bits.
I pegged something was wrong, but they laid it out way better than I expected.
That it was pancakes that were Akechi's downfall makes me giggle, though.
I believe so, though I did not try it. I almost ended up picking the bad route, though, because my read of the situation wasn't that I was selling out friends, but rather that Sae was already mostly on my side and it was meant to be a measure of trust...? Also, what the denizens of the Velvet Room said just before about "remember your bonds" was making me lean along those lines. Also I think the bad ending is if you try and make a deal by selling out people, then the plan fails with predictable results.
Except then it pops up with "Is this really a good idea?" and I immediately recognized it could be a good/bad ending trigger and reconsidered. Kind-of glad I did - I wouldn't like being shot for real.
